At OMPL, we take your custom plastic injection moulding project to the next level. With our in-house expertise to handle assembly operations, post-mould treatments, and decorations services, we ensure you get more out of your association with us. You benefit from products that have better performance and cosmetic finish, along with faster assembly at your site.

SEMI CLEAN ROOM

Our semi-clean room is designed to control contamination and airborne dust particles in our assembly process. This ensures that parts remain clean, minimising the risk of rejection and meeting the customer’s needs and specific industry standards

Annealing Plastics

Annealing uses heat and pressure to increase the strength and ductility of the plastic material, allowing it to withstand high temperatures and wear and tear. This helps to reduce warpage and improve surface finish.

Fixtures

Fixturing helps to secure the mould and ensure that it is held in a precise position throughout the process, ensuring the parts are produced with the exact dimensions and specifications required.

Insert Moldings

Insert mouldings can be used to incorporate a range of materials, including metal, rubber and ceramic. Metal inserts are commonly used in plastic injection moulding to create a stronger, more durable component.

Ultrasonic Welding

Ultrasonic welding utilises ultrasonic energy, or sound waves, to fuse two pieces of plastic. It is a highly efficient, reliable, and cost-effective way to join two plastic parts and is used in many applications, such as medical device production and automotive assembly.

Mechanical Assemblies

Mechanical assemblies in plastic injection moulding involve using special tools and fixtures to help assemble the product parts. These assemblies accurately position and secure the various components into the moulds, ensuring the parts are correctly placed.

Heat Sinking

When plastic is injected into a mould, the heat generated during the process can cause it to become brittle, degrade, or warp. Heat sinking helps to reduce these problems by absorbing the excess heat, thus reducing the temperature of the plastic and allowing it to cool more quickly.

Press fittings

Press fittings help join two or more parts of a machine together. They create a tight connection between parts that need to be held together, such as pipes or hoses, without welding or other specialised means of joining.
