Petronor conceptualized the idea of using high performance internal separator vessel technology (electrostatic coaleshers) in modular system
The designs are based on proven technology from the North Sea which has been adapted by several major oil companies mainly for offshore operations. Utilizing such solutions on land could provide bulk water close to the wells which might have a potential added benefit of providing water in the field for re-injection schemes. By putting the modular water knockout system between the the wells and the CPF the client will be able to separate out the water, with water cuts down to <0.5% water and avoid in-field transport of produced water.
The system is based on the use of technology from our partners to enable the construction of compact modular separators that would be capable of handling up to 30,000 bopd and up to 90% water cuts. All modules and elements to be installed in standard ISO frames for easy logistics and cost effective transport. More information is available on request.
